How do I prepare for my waxing service??

The hair length should be at least 1/4″-1/2″ long in order for the wax to grab.? It is recommended to thoroughly clean the area, exfoliate, and moisturize a?couple of days prior to the appointment.? You may also take an Ibuprofen or Advil 30 minutes before coming in.? Also, it is advised to avoid drinking caffeine or any other stimulant due to heightened sensitivity levels.

Can I wax if I am on my period?

It is not recommended to wax?3 days prior, during, or 3 days after your period.? The?most ideal time to wax is 2 weeks after your period.

Can I wax if I am pregnant?

Yes!??Carisa will ensure that you are very comfortable during your waxing experience.

What kind of wax do you use?

Two different types of high quality?waxes are used: A hard wax?for more sensitive areas; it shrink wraps?and hardens around the hair and is lifted from the skin to ensure a less painful removal. A?very high quality strip wax is used; warm wax is applied to the area, a strip is placed over the top and is removed very quickly.? These high quality waxes are to ensure the best possible experience with little or no irritation.

Will my hair grow back darker and thicker?

No!? When waxed consistently, the hair will grow back finer, softer, and sparser!
